Title: Windows Vista

Hey guys =) i got my new comp finally ===D  ( 4 gb ram  640gb hard drive ) but when i try to dual client it messes up..... its either if i alt tab i cant tab back cause the second client just messes up.... iono.. can anyone help?

Please elaborate: how does it mess up? Are you using fullscreen or window mode, and if you using window mode, do you have Mouse Freedom installed? Also, when using Vista and playing Ragnarok, it's advisable to turn off the User Account Control.

not sure are u facing the same prob i am
but from ur description it seems the same

my laptop (also vista) whenever i dual client,
my first client will stop loading (that means my screen doesn't change when ppl move or atk it just freeze completely like when ur having a terrible lag)

im also finding a way to overcome this prob xD
any help or advice would be nice n___n

It Messes up as in if i alt tab to the other screen i see my desktop backround and it stops working until i close it. Im using Windowed mode (1024 x 786 x 16) Mouse freedom is not installed and UAC is off.

that only happens to me when im playing other games as well and i get a black screen(due to UAC message)

Try Mouse Freedom: http://www.mediafire.com/?njzqiuumawn (put the file into your RO folder).
It could make your clients a bit slower when dual clienting, but usually helps if you're unable to switch the windows.

Not sure if you're still experience this problem or not but I had the same issue and found out what the problem was.
For my case, RO would freeze as you mention it (looks like a screenshot but you still hear music, etc) whenever vista would prompt me with one of those CANCEL/ALLOW pop-ups where the screen sort of suspends for a moment until you decide. After canceling/allowing - if I had RO open, it would freeze.

SO...
If you want to dual client make sure you open up 2 patchers (which is when vista prompts me with the cancel/allow) than press start on the two of them. Doing this will let you dual client w/o freezing the game.
(just make sure to avoid running any programs that'll bring up the vista cancel/allow prompt and you'll be fine)
