I know that a few months ago we had a Banner contest , will the banners be updated with all the new things which are being added ? For example , WoE 2.0 and any future thing. Talis mentioned a guild vs guild thing too. Though I'm sure they won't be changed ( banners ) until everything is done ?

I was wondering the same, and yeah probably they're waiting until everything is done.

Did they even ever announce the winners? Perhaps they'll have another banner contest, now that there will be more info to add (such as the new episode, mercenaries, nameless island, WoE 2.0, etc.) or maybe they'll just modify the winner(s) from the original contest.
But I think right now they're kind of taking a break, taking things easy - the huge updates over the holidays must have been exhausting, with all the beta testing and preparations leading up to it. Give the GMs a break, they deserve it ;)
