Title: Star Gladiator Weapon/Carding for Today's Day and Age

My friend and I have been reading through all the threads, doing searches, and couldn't find a conclusive answer.  He's interested in PvMing at the moment and a little bit of MvPing.  He'll do very little WoE and PvPing but it's possible way in the future. 

What Book/Carding should he do considering the Valkyrie nerf and whatnot?  Doppelganger to reach max aspd?  Dracula for heat?  Phreeoni to hit stuff?  Turtle General or Samurai for damage?  He has a very small budget, and doesn't want to go high levels of Demon and go completely blind to reach max aspd.  Sage's Diary is useful in adding aspd, Hardcover Book for damage, and Book [3] for resale value.  Any pro SG's help?

Sorry if I'm rehashing anything, it's been really hard finding anything completely helpful.

doppel doesnt increase the speed of heat damage right?

since a gladiator that i am...you need 2 books...a gladiator withouth good gear is dead...DTT if you use demon DDT if you dont want demon...DracDracPreoni...more exp and sp recovery...DrachunterflyPreoni..if you you need drain hp if enemy is too rude..i have a hardcover book +10...sucky card on it...i have to get some ads to unslot and put a doppel on it...DopelTurtlePreoni...because sins have tons of flee...but people use critical on them...well these are the options that i recommend :3 if people post more suggestions.especially veteran gladiators..will be super :3
