Title: What is The point of Homun Evolution?

I heard from one source your Homunculus get's stronger, and then I heard from another It doesn't help your Homun at all....So anyone can tell me whats the point of Evolving a Homunculus?

on servers where it is enabled, the evolution does actually strengthen the homun, giving it a stat boost and i'm pretty sure new skills.

They unlock their 4th skill *which is their most useful skill of all* and yes they do gain a stat boost, in which why people wait out their pet till 99 while unevolve. Once they have their max stats they evolve them to have another stat boost. Reason why people say they don't seem to get a stat boost is probably because they evolve them too quickly once they become loyal.

They get a stat boost but it's not alot...and the fact that you get a new skill once loyal.

lv 98 loyal adult lif vs Evil Snake Lord
watch and take your conclusions (note, 4th skill of lif is mental change, her matk turns into normal attack so she does around 1k of dmg instead her normal 200~400 dmg)

No Lif could dodge every hit from ESL and his mob unless its haxed :o

 Edit- Probably a private server. I've never played IRO before but the 14k vulcan seems abit much for normal equips.

i belive so too, seems like a lif with doubled vanil flee >_>

anyway, lif is the best homun to show the beneficts of evolution, mainly because mental change. she turns into a complete killing machine (too bad we still need to tank for her cause her low hp)

1 point would be a new look for the homunculus well mainly thats it for me others would be:
better stats,acomplishment,the 4th skill,

......Wow......Um if anyone has a Amistr here,...can you show me his level and stats?

I did a Homun calculation thing on one of the boards and I dont think Cotton ball is a very strong Amistr....
