Title: Armor Def question

Ok so the true value of Armor DEF is BasicArmor + Refinements*2/3. That is, you take the full amount of whatever it says in your armors descriptions and any armor adding cards, but only two-thirds of the pluses on your armor. eg. +6 Plate is actually worth 10 + 6*2/3 = 14 DEF. So if I have a +7 or +8 armor does it round up and down ?

   
(2 / 3) times 7 = 4.66666667 Rounds to 5
(2 / 3) times 8 = 5.33333333 Rounds to 5

So what I'm saying am i wasting my time wanting a +8 Armor when a +7 does the same thing for less zeny.

No, since it adds to other armours.

Yeah, there's no rounding. If your final armor defense total works out to be 35.3333...%, then that's exactly what gets reduced. Not 35 or 36, but 35.3333....

At least as far as I've ever seen on any of the websites I've read on the subject.
