which card combo best for tome ? and how much worth?

the combo used like 99% of the time is DDDr. you can also use DDT if you don't plan to use WB.
i rarely use WB as i am against it but its great for mvping and lh3 leveling.

Waterball is a great skill and should not be neglected even if you hate it, it is the most powerful single target spell in the game.
As for tome cardings, there are pretty much two main ones. DDT For those who like to melee. DDDrake for those who like to cast spells.
I'd go for DDDrake since melee builds generally require a good amount of gears and experience to be able to pull them off properly

I liked DDDr even with melee because when they start to run just cast Deluge and Water Ball away
