Title: Wiz casting question

I have a level 85 wizard.  She's got her DEX to 99 + (I forget what the plus is).  My cast time is pretty decent, but I see people almost instant casting, and I was curious what will make my cast time better.  I know a bigmouth clip will do it, but is there anything else that will help?

Also, I see people move while casting, how?
And I see people getting hit and holding a cast, how?

ums
if you reach 150 dex you'll have instant cast, or if you get to -100% cast reduction through gears
sages have a sskill called free cast that allowes them to move and atack while casting
the phen card and bloody butterfly card allowes the user to maintain casting they're abilities while being hit, at the price of raiseing they're cast time abit ~nyo^^

that's not possible for wizzies, but anyways, you need these gears +your reg. job bonus stats to get instant cast;

sting gloves x 2 -> 5 dex in each = 10 dex
Kaho's horn  =20 dex
Stem worm card (garment)= 5 dex
quad drop card rod = 4 dex  or Dex version survivors rod [drop card] = 4 dex
Gargoyle/Moonlight flower card (shoes) = 5 dex each
rocker card armor = 1 dex

for getting Instant cast you need 99 dex
+ 20 from Lord Kaho horns
+ 5 from stemworm card in garment
+ 5 from Gargoyle or Moonlight Flower card in shoes
+ 5 each from Sting cards in gloves (+ 10 total)
+ 4 from quad Drops rod or drops dex survivor rod
+ 1 from rocker card in armor

+ 6 from Job/Class bonus

OR  some dex can be gained from eating stat foods
      some from the Wizard SQI

edit cause ^ editted: um .. not sure about that 8D but it'd be pretty difficult to constantly have that around. dex gears are so much more reliable :P

req lvl 90 isnt it....

if u want cast reduction...(u still wont be instacast but oh my goodness thats insane HP with 1 dex well)
2x berz
DI+DL
wing staff(5% reduction)
another DI in the head?

You can get 100% reduction with Bragi and if some of the new episode gears do get implemented...

you've also got the Robe of Cast for another 3% :P

Wizard hat would do good.

that's another 10% at the cost of more SP per skill.  :angel:
