Title: Fast Casting

i know a couple of things to make casting faster.. but whats the best way to cut your cast time (say 15 sec storm gust to 1 sec storm gust)

Either add a lot of Dex, (10% cast reduction per 15 Dex, instant cast at 150 Dex)

Or use casting time reduction gears like Berzs, DL/DI combo, etc.

To elaborate thoiugh..

Dex and Cast reduction gears don't stack.

you could have 149 dex, twin berz, DI/DL, and you'd still have a cast time. Small one, but its still there ;P

You need either 100% cast reduction (which idk if it's possible to get, and if so, I'm told the only class you can possibly get it on is sader/pally because of the SQI) or 150 dex (99+51 or something similar).  There is no way to have perfectly instant cast without one of those; you could have both 99% cast reduction and 149 dex and it would still have a small cast time (not that it's actually possible to get that, just saying).  Well, cast time in that case is so fast it doesn't matter much, but it does matter a bit because your cast could get interrupted if the monster hits you at the wrong moment, whereas with IC the cast can't get interrupted because it's instant.

someone said to me that they had dual celebs and that thats y they had fast cast. is that two celebration rings?  and how would +10 dex do that much. is there a hidden ability in it that cast fast? or would she just have had 99 dex + 10? =]
i wanna buy two beezlebub but would that be the best n cheapest way? cause i would like it if i didnt have to use gemstones so i dont rele want to have to use two beez.

thank you for help, i thought dex only took off 0.2 sec cast time each 10.

Cheapest to get a faster cast would be the Berz' cards, as with IC you'll need
a Kaho on about every class but super novice, seeing as they can get it with
certain skills and Dex adding cards like stem worm and gargoyle.

dont double post, use the 'modify' button at the corner of the post. And no, there is no slotted kahos. Stem worm is 5 dex and gargoyle is 5 dex. You also have sting cards 4 dex each, which can be applied to gloves (accessories) which have 1 dex each.
also, the very cheap rocker cards can get you 1 dex

I sometimes use rocker armor when I don't have anything else with my HW... xD

Celebs are good because they give all stats +5, not only dex. That is why they are better then Sting Gloves. They don't have any super secret ability (that is what I know heh).

on a wizard, i believe you get +6 dex at job lvl 50, just as a bonus based on your class. Get yourself gargoyle shoes (5-6M), 2xSting Gloves (7M ish), stem worm muffler (5-6M), Kaho (75M), either quad drops rod(1.5M) or drops survivor rod (3-4M) and a rocker armor such as a silk robe (<1M). That'll give you +51 dex, so with 99 base dex, you'll have 150 dex, and instant casting.

The most expensive item is obviously the kaho, and without that, you should be able to still cast SG with 2sec cast time.

Direct cast reduction gears like DI and berze are an alternative to the expensive dex items, mainly goddamn kahos.

2berz=60% cast reduction
DI+DL=20% cast reduction
Wing staff=5% reduction (dono if this exists in anthem)

anyways, that right there is a good 80-85% reduction in casting time, slap the time decrease from 50 dex on there and your cast time would be quite fast while still giving you many skill points and ultimately being cheaper than getting kahos immediately.

If you are a Mage Class you can choose a Loli Ruri armor(15% casting time reduction and other cool bonus) instead of Robe of Cast[0](3% casting time reduction). Or slot a Loli Ruri in the Robe of Cast[1] ;Da Boo proven myself wrong o.o

In this case you save a DI ;o

My bad o; You will have to equip Parasite, Miyabi Doll, Evil Nymph, Harpy and Bloody Butterfly Cards to have that 15% reduction, in which case it is not that good after all since BB card increases casting time by 30% :\ (But you get uninterruptable with fast casting o.o;)
