Worst thing happened to me. When i tried to turn my computer on something weird happen.
M computer would not turn on, but instead a light was bliking on and off. It was orange.
Now my computer will not turn on. any suggestions or ideas. ??? ???



P.S im using parents laptop

is your computer a pc or a mac?
is there a long beeping sound or a consistent beeping sound when you turn on your computer?
do you hear a clicking/churning sound when you turn on your computer?
does your computer show a blank screen or does it undergo post (Power on Self Test)?
does the keyboard light up (the led light on the num pad, scroll keys, and caps lock) when you turn on your computer?

My computer is a dell windows xp
Nothing happens wen i pres the button to turn it on.
Just to say When i unplug everything from my computer
the orange light still blinks as if it were still plugged in.

Dell is usually pretty good with their hardware. My previous PC ate four power supplies and two motherboards. The same thing happened to me when my motherboard blew out.

You should go get it checked out at a Best Buy or a Circuit City. Or whatever store near you fixes computers, or diagnoses problems.

Believe me, I feel your pain. I was without my computer or RO for 9 months...it sucked ASS.

No the light is actually in frot of the computer.
It is taking place of the green light the lets you know that
hat computer is on.

a. replace your battery.
b. replace your ac cord.(what do you mean you cant just replace it?)
c. check to see if there's anything loose where your ac cord plugs into your laptop.
d. take it to best buy/circuit city/privately owned laptop repair shop.
