Title: Item recovery question

Im sure some of you knew i dropped my ice pick.

So what happens if;

A= the person who picked it up
B = Person who buys it from the person who picked it up

Situation 1
A sells my IP to B
I recovery my IP after A has sold it to B
B finds the IP missing and sends for item recovery?

Situation 2
A NPCs my IP


Situation 3
A drops the IP and it dissapears

Situation 4
A drops the IP and lets a poring/ other monster lotter which is already holding maxmium amount of loots and the IP dissapears

Situation 5
A breaks the IP by overupping

I can't even get hold of the person dammit.

they roll the trades zeny back.../ok

if she upgrade it and sell for cheap the GMs takes the zeny from her and sends it back to the buyer and the ice pick back to you on its original upgrade

if she npc it...there's a chance she gets banned maybe but prolly not (after all its not her fault she just being rude)and you still get it back

about dropping its the same as the selling to npc deal...you still get it back and GMs can always trace it

the worst is when there are many trades involved after you lost it cause they'd need to roll back all those trades...

Yeah, all trades just get reversed. If B tried to do an item recovery, the GMs would probably just explain that the item in question had actually belonged to somebody else, etc, etc.

The fact that all those trades need to get reversed is one of the several reasons why item recovery tickets can take quite a long time.
