Title: Homunculus Death...
Post by: DreamerP on October 21, 2008, 10:54:03 pm
I left my Homunculus out and I didn't come back on time but it was still there and had point left on hunger does it need to go completely to or is there an amount of time before it goes to or before it leaves you?

i think.. you forgot to type the digits in??? ??? And i'm pretty sure there's certain amount of time between each feeding interval where if you don't catch it before it gets to 0.. you're lil guy or gal will peace out

:( When your Homunculus' hunger reaches 10, it will loose 1 Intimacy. And every 3 to 4 minutes afterwards, it will lose another 1 Intimacy, and this is what happen for no feed it, he just start to low the lvl of intimacy till he just leave u for be a cruel owner that let his pet suffer of hunger :-\
Intimacy Level
911-1000 = Loyal :-* 751-910 = Cordial :D 251-750 = Neutral ::) 101-250 = Shy :-[ 11-100 = Awkward :-\ 4-10 = Hate :( 0-3 = Hate with a Passion >:( 0= Hasta la Vista, Baby! 8)

yeh but remember, it "takes" 10 min to get a point ( feed at 15 , wait again till 15 to feed it again)or well , it takes longer then getting points ;)

What if you feed all the way to 75 the safe point...do you accumulate points like 1.75 points from 15-75?

the best intimacy point is 1 which is between 11-25 .5 intimacy point is 1-10 - very hungry 1 intimacy point is 11-25 - Hungry .75 intimacy point is 26-75 - normal -0.05 intimacy point is 76-90 - full - 0.5 intimacy point is 91-100 very full http://www.anthemro.com/forums/index.php/topic,8968.0.html (http://www.anthemro.com/forums/index.php/topic,8968.0.html) for more information about pet

well , the 1 etc is just the % chance of getting one intimacy point. so hunger : 1-10 -> 50% chance gaining one point when feeding 11-25 -> 100% chance gaining one point when feeding 26-75 -> 75% chance gaining one point when feeding 76-90 -> 5% chance loosing one point when feeding 91-99 -> 50% chance loosing one point when feeding

Also do you have to make a homunculus 99 to evolve it or just make it loyal or both.

hmmm... i think you just need to get it to loyal but not really confident if you need 99 as well to evolve it

Your Homunculus just needs to be Loyal to evolve it - It does not need to be level 99. ;3 It could actually be level 1 and you could evolve it~

Does it lose any valuable points by doing this like a person who changes class at Job Level 40 compared to someone who changes at job level 50 do they lose stats points if they are evolved to early?

I think someone tested if the stats changed depending on if you evolved your homunc at level 1, or if you waited till it was level 99 to evolve it. Said person did not find or see any change. /ok

>_> So what's the point with level it before evolving >_> you mean to say that all the pots I've pitched and everyone else has pitched are worth notthing >_< that doesn't make sense DX

You need to level it eventually? And I honestly don't see that much of a difference in damage between one Homunc and the other. I've only really ever seen a Lif, and the damage between an evolved Lif and an unevolved one was so minimal, or non existant. ;o If you're going to idle around doing nothing but feed your pet to get intimacy up, why not level it in the process?

always when i see alchemists wastin a ton of pots, i tell them ''just let your homun die and ress it again'' but no one believes me that it doeesnt loose intimacy . well its not my pocket which gets smaller .

cause if you don't pay much attention to it.. (people who multi client) then there's the possibility that the homun could die.. and does that not cause a loss in intimacy? Probably a stretch, but a possible problem nonetheless.
PS: How much intimacy is lost when a homun dies anyway? Or is any lost at all? Thanks

When something dies it's gone >_> and you have to start over at 0 and make another homunculus.

Yea you have to level it but if your saying the first stage doesn't matter what you do then what's the point of leveling it, while you can just AFK in town and not risk damage, pots or exp.
I know that the second evolved level you have to level if you want it to stand a chance in PvP...
But my point it should be like the characters for example...
A person who is a high mage can either job change at 40 or 50 if you change at 40 you lose 10 job points basically a skill but if you wait you can get 10 more points at 50.

Its level doesn't get reset back to 1 after it evolves if that's what you were thinking. Just its intimacy gets set back to the starting point. ^^;

Oh so if I have a level 25 Homunculus then it evolves it's still 25?

Yup. :)

That's interesting but I would like to be certain if you benefit more from evolving early or 99ing the first stage first then evolving...or waiting for it to become loyal but you did say there isn't a difference so I'll believe you on that <3

Actually the other way around would make more sense, the evolved stages would gain more from levels than the non-evolved counterparts /hmm ?

All evolving does is give your Homunculus a boost in it's stats. It doesn't gain more per level than its non evolved form.
