wondering if it would be a good idea to get a +10 DBSS compisite bow for both a rogue and a hunter.

The sams would not be so great for a bow, the better choice is Turtle Generals. You need the Dex, so most people add massive amounts of dex. Sad thing is, the Sams only increase your ATK, as the Turtle Generals increase your ATK %. Thats why the sams usually go in maces and MGs, as Turtle Gens go in Bows.

-A DDBS bow would be a better option since if you were mobbing vit would be more beneficial then agi, since flee is reduced depending on the number of monsters attacking you.

I DO know what i'm talking about, because I never said Agi at all, I said Dex, Dex increases your Range ATK. Also a Bapho would not be a good idea for a bow. The Bapho will not splash attack. The arrow will hit a single target and it won't work.

Just listen, the Incantation Samurai card, in Anthem RO adds +65 to your attack. If you add two of them to your weapon that will be 130 ATK. But sams add to your STRENGTH.

Do not get me wrong that is great, but the Turtle Gen. is WAY better to go with. It adds +20% to your damage. So with your bow and dex, and improved concentration and other increases the benefits are WAAAY better.

I've OWNED a DDBS bow before you silly baboon!So, yes I do know what I'm talking about.
Also; Atk does NOT equal strength, seriously it isnt that hard to figure out.

and so then wtg, i'm sure you have a DDBS bow, but then why doesn't everyone use this bow? honestly you can mob and splash, not to mention the attack speed and distance.

unless u are playing hunter/sniper in this server and already tried many kind of bow combo
better leave this to the one that already tried the stuff

there's also many thread saying DDSS is better than DDTT

Alright then thats cool. I admit i've never put in a Bapho card into a bow. So I will let this die, I was offering advice and was provoked. Its cool though, if it works grats, if not just always unslot.

It's pretty clear what you're saying here. Two quick corrections:

1. Your point above says Samurai adds to your Strength - it adds to your attack strength, which is affected by Str on melee weapons and Dex on ranged weapons. It doesn't just add to melee Str-based attack.

2. Bapho does splash on bows.

Don't know how to make that any clearer, as it would be best if you were 100% sure about the facts before dishing out advice.

u could add ' bapho didnt work on bow..i guess'
your 1st post sounds like a fact that could be misunderstand by many people

the reason not many people slot DDBS (DSBB wont make your aspd 190 decent for mobbing i guess)
it's hard to resell when u done with the bow

What they're saying is stating it like a fact is misleading. And when someone is asking an honest question, it's not good to mislead them into thinking it was fact. For example, if no one had corrected you, he would've thought no Sams and no Bapho on any bow, cause the Bapho wouldn't work.  And that wouldn't be fair to the original poster to mislead him on his own question. It cheats him, so to speak.

And from what I understood (but don't quote me on this, I hate ammo-classes), hunters/snipers love DDTT/DDT so they can snipe the crap out of MVPs with good damage.

That is the most retarded thing I've ever read on this forums. I know people sometimes post things that arent real facts, but they usually warn you that they're not sure if what theyre saying its true. I completely understand that I had no knowledge about bows. >_> I was just told never to put a Bapho in a bow, it wasn't worth it if you had an archer build. And if you don't go with a Bapho its better to use TGs for higher damage. I was just always told by my friend Hajima. He is a very serious player, although I understand that its wrong for me to say Bapho cards don't work in a bow, I HAVE ADMITTED THIS! I'm just saying that the best cards to put in a bow is a dopples and Turtle Generals.

TG are not always the best.

TG are better then sam when your atk is 330 or higher as 20% of that is 66. thats 1 more then sams +65.
for archer class TG is usually better as with skills and bonuses you can easily get over 330 atk while thief class doesn't get many bonuses to their bow based atk so they usually get a samurai.

it also depends on your build and other equips.

i might be mistaken though.

ok so i should invest in a DDBS bow then. cus i do want to mob. i plan to use this bow for places like toy factory and such other places that are good for loots.

u better ask more experienced hunter/sniper 1st if slotting that card combo is worth it

what i want to do is be able to mob from a distance with both my rogue and my hunter. all i know is that bapho will do splash damage and dopple will improve my aspd. other than that i dont know what to do.

to start using bapho effectively
u need to gather mob in 1 spot..then that's how it will splash
u cant just shoot 1 myst case and hoping faraway other mystcase get hit too

well..zoulous have DDBS cb..let him input how to use
but i think he use it for woe?

why not use ddtt bow? IMO its the best since hunter/sniper/rouge can kill monsters in TF in just a few hits. If you really want to mob, then try using claymore traps for sniper/hunter and rouge/stalker may be a stormgust. Thats way better than DDBS as not many people wants to buy DDBS...

true not many people want to buy that combo but i do. lol. i have no problem with making of the mob i love doing it. i just wish i had a mob effective way to deal with them. plus when i go against stormy knight it would be easier. lol
