Title: ok since the new client last night

it ran for her (my gf) ok last night but after she patched (this morning) she couldn't stay logged in for more than 5 seconds at a time, what can she do to play?

If she is freezing at 100% on the loading screen, she will need to patch Sakray.

If she is getting pallette errors, she will need to patch Anthem if she hasn't already.

If she's still getting a failed to connect to server, or has already patched Anthem, then ask her to use this:

it'll let her log in, bring up the place shes at, then kick her off.

she said it just gives her disconnected from the server

Be prepared to delete your RO folder and reinstall entirely...  :-\


A few people have had to do this since the new update...      If you haven't got the anthem full install saved still, i'd suggest redownloading it while you're trying to fix it just in case.. It'll save you time later.

Delete apatch.inf from your RO folder, and patch Anthem again.  Also be sure to patch Sakray, and run ROSakFix.exe (also in your RO folder).

If it's STILL not working, and you've verified that you've patched them both, then

i have her trying it now...neither one of us have the ROSakFix.exe in our folders and shes trying to repatch but she says where the start website and exit buttons usually are is just a grey area.

What does it say in the progress bar?

she said it patched but its still doing the samething, letting her login, be on for 5 seconds, then kicking her off and is that the full anthem installer?

well seems she used the patcher and it works again....never mind its kicking her off again x.x jesus christ.....ok it's only kicking her off when she tries to put her skills in the shortcut key tray, how do we fix that

A few hours ago there was a patch released that fixes that.

Like i said before.. Make sure you've got the full anthem installer on hand for that final moment that you give up on the fixes.. It might actually be quicker to reinstall entirely anyway.

Although my sak has been updating for a good couple of hours now..

well apparently it didn't fix hers cause its still doing it and she gives up on anthem she says

It sounds like she doesn't have some sort of administrative privileges.  If she wants to keep trying, and is on Vista, I can keep helping.

its weird cause before this new update she could play just fine its just after this update, she's on xp and if it was administrative privileges it wouldnt even let her download it
