Title: Step by step instructions to getting on the test server?

Just for the record, I have scoured the forums, read different topics, and am still at a lost. At the moment, I have nothing on my hard drive. No Anthem, RO, Sakray, nothing.

I understand it is asking a lot, but could someone please give me step by step on what to download, in what order, and how to proceed? I really want to participate. Thanks.

At first, download an up-to-date Sakray (it will shorten the patching process) from here: http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=download_kROLinks
If you know how to use torrents, use the first link ("Sakray 0616 Torrent"). If not, use the second or third one ("Sakray 0616 Full exe").

After downloading and installing that, go to http://anthemro.com/download/small.php, click on "Main Download Server (Unmetered): AnthemRO Dedicated Download Server", then choose "AnthemRO_Mini_Setup_2007-11-16.exe". If you don't have the background music yet (no BGM folder, or folder is empty), you can download the BGM.zip as well and unpack all of the files (1.mp3, 2.mp3, etc.) into the BGM folder in your RO directory (i.e. C:\Program Files\Gravity\RO).
Install the Mini Setup, go to the RO directory, and start "AnthemPatch.exe". Wait till it's finished, then use AnthemNew.exe to start, choose the test server, play, ???, profit!

You need to have an account on the main server in order to be able to play on the test server. You can't create accounts on the test server.

If any problems occur (for example while patching something), post here, and we'll try to help you!

Ok I did everything you said. When I try to run the Anthemnew.exe, i get the message that the application cannot run because "binkw32.dll" was not found.

Download this: http://files.filefront.com/Ragnarok+DLL+files/;7585450;/fileinfo.html/1/1 and extract all of the files into your RO directory; it should solve all your dll problems.

Ok did everything. But in my RO folder there is no Anthemnew.exe

Thoughts?

Sorry for the multiple posts, but now I have Anthemnew.exe but when I click it it does not launch. I think I am just going to give up.
Am I supposed to have a data folder?
