Any rate, Magic's not a bad build. Great for prison leveling.

Okay, stats wise.
For prison;
Start out  maxing out int, and get Ice spear lv 1. It cast's relatively fast and hits 3 times. Spam that in prison.
Next should be Cicada Skin Shedding.
Then, get Fire petal to lv 4, and then begin maxing out Crimson fire Formation, then max out Raging Spiral dragon.
In Amatsu, the Ninja HQ, Buy the Red stones necessary to cast it with Discount or Haggle, if possible.

Now, Lure a mob towards you, and prepare Cicada Skin. Start up with the Fire formation and finish it. The mob will follow you. Use the time wisely and charge up Spiral Dragon.
This is good for about 80 levels, if you are patient. Gear wise, stick with Ashura or go to a Bazerald (+15% more M.Attack)

Another fun thing to do is Solo GTB (Golden Thief bug)

Simply put, Shadow Jump on the water, and look for GTB. When you see him, Ice Spear spam.
Nothing hard, really ^^


Gear Wise:
Head: Apple of Archer, or Kaho

Apple of Archer, Dropped by Skeleton Archer at a rate of .06 and Antique Firelock at a rate of .03

Weapon: Quad Drops MG for dex is good, but Bazerald (+15% M.Attack) is good too. I use that one.

Bazerald, Dropped by Pharoah at a rate of 2.4%


Shield: GTB is a great choice for PvP; For normal circumstances, Anything that fits your fancy.

Arm Guard, that I use for my ninja, available at the Amatsu weapon shop.

Body : I use the Ninja Suit/ Shinobi Sash combo, but Rocker armor for Dex works too

Shinobi Sash, Found from shinobi at 3 percent rate.

When the combo is used together, Max Hp is inreased by 300, and all SP consumption is reduced by 20%

Feet: Gargoyle, Moonlight, or Verit are fine.
Garment: Stemworm or Frilldora (I prefer Frilldora)
Accessory: Sting gloves or, one sting glove and the Shinobi Sash

Another good thing to have it a smokie clip, so you can shadow jump without having to use Vanishing slash to hide.



PVP

Now, Ninja's have weaknesses, and they are reflected in PvP very well. A ninja vs an Assassin, for example. The ninja may have Cicada ready, but all the sin has to use is Sand attack. Monks can use their Quest Skill to bypass Cicada too. Eventually, you will be cornered and you will be killed. Thats why a Smokie clip and Shadow jump really shine. It helps you get out of trouble quick.

And thats about as far as I have taken mine

I don't have anything on that list except the ninja suit and the arm guard, and I did just fine

i posted this hoping to get an idea of what other people use other than what is on discussion threads. so im asking you shadowfaux sir what is it that you use. and what stats and skills do you use. and so on and so forth.

On my ninja, Stats are as follows 90 total int rest dumped into dex

I use for equipment:
Headgear - Mystic Rose (for looks)
Armor - +5 Ninja Suit
Garment - +8 Ragamuffin Manteau
Accessory - Clip[Smokie]
Accessory - Safety Ring
Shoes - +7 Shoes [Eddga]
Weapon - Ashura[2]
Shield - Arm Guard

Skills:
Ice Spear lvl 1
Fire Petals lvl 5
Crimson Fire Formation 10
Raging Fire Dragon lvl 5
Shadow Leap lvl 5
Cicada Skin Shedding 5
The Rest of my skills are going into the Shuriken line so I can get Throw Wind Shuriken

Ashura[2] you get when you change into a ninja.
Ragamuffin Manteau I only use for its MDEF, so you can use whatever you can.
The Eddga Shoes I use just cause its the best pair of shoes I have, I didn't have them when I began training my Ninja, I just used whatever I had at the time.
The Mystic Rose was just as I said earlier for looks only, it provides absolutely no defense, so use whatever you can.
The safety ring can be replaced with another clip of your choice. I use safety ring for its + 3 MDEF and thats it.
