Title: vsmon.exe problem

My RO lags like crazy when i go ingame, and i figured out it's due to vsmon.exe.

i did a search on google and found out that this is due to my firewall program, zonealarm pro.

when i end the task, RO is fine, but I lose my internet connection about 5 minutes later, every time.

does anyone know how the heck i fix this?  It's only started since i installed the new client, and never happened before.  zonealarm runs "behind the scenes" and i never even knew it still ran, untill now it's causing problems

I shuted down my Antizirus O_O, it didnt let me play so i shut down it, soo, i think i shoud have some viruses on my compu but i dont give a shit lol, i will play >=O, fuck the antivirus  /heh  i dont care, well, but, umm, i dunno how to fix your problem ><, srry ^^

Are you able to deinstall Zonealarm? Private firewalls are.. quite useless anyway, the Windows firewall suffices in most cases.

well i'm trying to uninstall zonealarm, but i cant cause it runs all sort of weird stuff in the background that i cant access.

Hmm, maybe start your Windows in safe mode and then try to uninstall it, if you know how to.

ah i figured it out, if anyone ever has a problem with this let me know.

to get rid of vsmon.exe and uninstall zone alarm:

go to control panel> administrative tools > services

disable true vector
then uninstall ZA from add/remove programs, and restart.

you'll be golden.
