just wondering where to level a ninja with not so great gears. i have not made him yet i am just wondering how versitaile he is any help would be great.

Not like I've ever played one, but I have seen them using the "Hit 'n Run" technique almost everywhere. From Payon to Glast Hiem, I've even seen some at Ancient Mummies from time to time.

i havent made him yet. i kinda wanna get an idea of where i can level him before i make him. just kinda forshadowing so to speak. kinda wanna get an idea of locations and equips.

Well, Payon Dungon would be good for beginners, or maybe the Desert south Prontera killing baby desert wolfs.

what equips i know what i want for weapons so what about the other gear choices.

Well I could be wrong, but I assume the stats needed are the same for a thief, agility and strength.
I don't know a lot about gears, so I can't help you there, but I don't think you'll need anything too serious or exspensive for Payon.

the build should have more intel than a theif due to a ninjas ability to  cast actual spells (cicada skin shedding and what not)

Ah a ninja with not so great gears.

I believe you train at prison with fire formation, cicada skin shed and all that.

First you have to get enough job lvls.

I suggest going str and dex first and kill payon monsters.

When you get enough job lvls for fire formation go int and some dex(Optional).

Ninja stuff is at Amatsu.

You get that ninja weapon when you job change into one.

Oh and a hiding clip would be great for ninjas via shadow jump, save up for 1.

Well dunno... i saw a ninja with a Wraith Dead armor once, i guess ninjas use that.

They also use drake weapons for their hidden water move.
