Title: What ever happened to Jailing as a punishment??

I remember there used to be people who got banned for breaking out of jail.
Why haven't I seen any reports of people being jailed and what constitutes being Jailed?

Good question, indeed.  I remember someone was jailed for harassment like that one successful case involving an ingame toilet guy in aRO that I posted.

I wanna see more Jails than Bans, unless they deserve it.
Maybe Street Chatting, Jail for 1 day??

I think jail got too much of a hassle since the GM had to remember to release you from jail.

Jailing was dropped for temp. bannings.

ah, I see.
well, if you made jail a nightmare pvp map, but keep pvp off, then if they tried breaking out with a poison bottle, then they lose their gears
reason why to accept your punishment and not break out  :-*

oh yes, when I was admin on a server, someone thought it was funny to make a character called Fuck Zone and I hate Zone.
Then J E W and Hitler.
I jailed him and he tried to get out by killing himself, and he lost his gears.
Simple as that. They don't leave jail, if they kill themselves, then they lose their gears, if they edp and kill themselves, then not only do they lose their gear, but they get banned.
