i am trying to add money to my paypal with my american express gift card and it says that it was denied and i just got everything activated how can i donate with this problem are there any other ways or am i fucked

Did you make sure that your PayPal address and that of the gift card were the same??

If not, then you most likely won't be able to do it, since your only alternate route would be the Expanded Use verification, which may have your PayPal account terminated.

If it didn't work at all, you may try cashing the gift card out if possible and purchasing a Visa/Mastercard gift card instead.
