Does the skill require gemstones, even if you have missy headgear?

Answer:  If you have any Mistress headgear, the only thing you would need to worry about is having enough holy water.

If you don't have any Mistress headgear, then you would need to worry about gemstones AND holy water.

The only skills that missy won't affect are double gemstones skills. For some reason missy is coded to just -1 requirement. Either a Gravity mis-code or something due to our mistakes/ lack of updates or maybe it was just meant to be that way. People on official servers don't have MvP gear to notice things like that /heh

I really wished it was fixed to completely null the requirement. If it was a mistake.

As far as I know, Mistress is only supposed to replace one of the required gemstones. Basilica requires 3 gems, so I believe you will still need the other 2 :/
I could be wrong though *shrug*.

What I have read it seems the Mistress Card only reduces 1 of each gemstone.

So if a spell had a requirement of 2 of the same gemstone only 1 would be nullified.

Basically, you can think of the Mistress ability flag working as, "If a skill has one gemstone requirement, nullify that requirement." I believe that before, it was explained that the "minus one gemstone requirement" flag was not able to stack for some reason, and therefore it only works as such.

So Basilica requires all three gemstones to work. Abracadabra needs both. Ganbantein needs both, I can confirm that point.

Well Ganbantein said that the requirement itself can't be reduced through cards that remove gemstones requirements, go figure. I'm sorta uncertain about Basillica because it technically isn't just 3 of one gem but 1 of each, so I'm tentative to say. I never had a High Priest. Abracadabra is supposed to take items from you depending on what you use, those can be used but it's hard coded so that even with the mistress it still takes up at least 1 yellow gemstone.

Mistress card will reduce the gem requirement of each gem by 1.

So ME -> 1 Blue Gem needed ----mistress-----> No gems needed.

Basilica -> 1 Blue/1 Yellow/1 Red/1 Holy Water ----mistress-----> 1 Holy Water needed. (Just tested it myself in Orc Dun 1. Had 1 Holy Water, 1 blue gem, 1 yellow gem, 1 red gem in my inventory : after casting Basilica, 1 Holy Water was consumed but all the gems remained.)

There's that one skill that needs 2 Yellow gems to work, that will be reduced to 1 Yellow gem, I hear.
