Title: best gear for a ninja

just wondering what would be the best gear for a starting out ninja and what would be the best gears to have. i have been told by some people that ninjas really dont need great gear. is this true if not please inform me as to what i should get for my ninja. i have a basic budget but it will be changing here soon i hope.

completly depends on the build you want to go down, for lvlying some prefer magic i like the mele stuffys tough :3 u can go hybrid at higher lvls i supose too ~nyo^^

well i guess i kinda dont know what i should do. i wanna be able to survive anywhere solo. can anyone suggest things for me please thank you.

In my own opinions,i would say go Magic build.

Get a Bazerald and get Spear of Ice level 1 and also Cicada Skin Shedding level 5 and then you can level in prison.

After that get Crimson Fire Petal to level 5 and get Crimson Fire Formation level 7, and Spirit of the Blade level 10 for Raging Fire Dragon.

With Raging Dragon you can kill mobs in prison very well,after getting it maxed then get Crimson Fire Formation maxed.

Then get whatever skills you want,i would say Soul because it increases your Int.

Also for stats just max your Int and get a bit of Dex for a better casting time =/

ok thank you. this is going to seem dumb but right now i dont have alot of money. i plan to do some cake farming.  but what gear should i use for him. and should i not get any other stats other than int and some dex.

And some Vit so you can have more Hp :3


For gear,im not entirely sure,i got my ninja to 80 with just a Bazerald and 2 Earrings for Int...

Just basically get any gear with Int so you can do more damage xD

I cant help you there,i have no experience with Melee type Ninjas,so yea sorry =/

Lol ummm Grape Juice for Sp,Meat to heal...

If you go with my build then youll need the Fire Orb thingies (cant remember what its called very well) there sold in the Amatsu Tool shop.
Youll need them for Crimson Fire Formation and Raging Dragon.

when it talks about skills like throw shuriken, kunai, humma shuriken what does it mean and what do i need to do that skill.

u need to equip the coresponding weapon,
throw shuriken requires shurikens, not really a weapon but somewhat like arrows or more like assasin's venom knifes 
throw fuuma shuriken requires a fuuma shuriken, its a normal weapon with slots and stuffys
kunais same as the first, they come in elements of course
throw zenny u need ..zenny :3!                 ~nyo^^

i hate discussion threads because there is way to much garbage in them to sift through. so about the shurikens, fuuma shuriken, and kunais do i need to buy alot or can i just have one and go from there. also about the venom knifes where do i get those.

Go to the thread, then type a word or two in the search bar, such as "gear" or "shuriken".

Woah, someone living by the standards of a Movie. Kudos to you. You know the movie is historically inaccurate right? I don't give a shit how good they were-- if you're fighting against an army and your protection = leather speeders you = dead.

You can get "ammo" I'm guessing you mean kunai and stones from Amatsu. Go right till you see an opening then down a bit the two house portals have ninja items.
