Title: Question about support tickets
Post by: Joker99352 on July 14, 2008, 08:18:02 pm
I dont want to be annoying or nag but I was wondering how long it takes to sort a support ticket. My ticket was about some items not being received, and the only response I got was asking for the transaction ID (which I gave). After that, it said it was being forwarded to a high GM but the whole thing has been up for 11 days so I was just wondering if I should ask someone about it or if I'm just impatient. :o

I think you just need to wait. There might be a backlog where too many support tickets and GM cannot read them all fast enough, well you GM have a life too. If they do what players demand, GM might end up like the last one.

Most support tickets need more then 5 minutes to be done, some could take weeks at the minimum and when you think about all the players who send in tickets it creates a backlog very fast.

Yeah I get that, it just seems like since they already looked at it they'd just get it out of the way. I don't mind waiting though as long as I know it will be taken care of eventually.

Not every GM can handle everything, as far as I understand, the Sub GMs usually gather all the necessary information from you, then forward it to the High GMs, since they are the only ones able to deal with it. Since there's A LOT more things only High GMs can do, must do, it usually takes some time till they answer your ticket. If it's something that can be dealt with fast you'll most likely receive an answer in a few days.
They didn't get it out of the way, it was just the first step in answering your ticket.

Lol you just wait since 11 days, a friend of my had to wait more than a helf year for finishing his ticket. You can do nothing than wait even its bothersome

I don't expect it to take that long. All I did was buy a box set and I'm trying to save up money so the sooner the better.
