I was thinking of making a guild website and i was wondering if this forums is free.If it is free i would use http://www.simplemachines.org/

SMF is free. It says so on there o.o

You have to submit your site to googles web crawler. There isn't a gurantee on if your site can be googled and how high up your site will be is based on key words and PR.

The chances of your site appearing depends on if google even adds it and what keywords you typed in compared to what key words your site will appear to.
