i just have to ask this cus yes im a noob. but i was wondering if i played my media player behind the game if i would lag out.

No, unless you're computer sucks horribly.

Then your computer would freeze at that time.

u could always try it out. Run the WMP. If you lag out, than ure pc is not in a good "shape".
My suggestion : Use the ipod /wow /wow

If you really need to listen music (not ro ones) but cant afford ipod nor cheap mp3 players than

God-fate suggestion : turn on dads radio /wow /wow

the normal wmp u get with windows shouldnt lag u alltough i use winamp :3 u could change the bgms in youre ro folder if u have no other choice or just wanted dif music for some maps ~nyo^^

i dont know how to do that so im just going to go with my original idea which was to mute in game sounds and listen to my own.

It's not that hard, go into your BGM folder and you will see a giant list of songs. Create a copy of that song and keep it safe. Now create a copy of the song you want to replace it with and call it the name as the song you want to replace it with and paste it in your RO BGM folder which will cause it to overwrite the original song.

Not all songs work though, Unsure why that is.

You can go on imeem.com and make a playlist of songs. :3

Thats what I do now since I don't have an iPod anymore.
