Title: Is ksing mvp's allowed? also, what about their loot?

can you kill someone else mvp if you happen to see them attacking it, or are mvps treated like any other monster?

Edit: Is the loot FFA as well?

mvps are free for all- mvp and loots and such.

just tends to be whoever does the most damage gets the mvp bonus xp or it might be who attacks first but i think its most damage

It's allowed, but why would you do this if someone else had done all the work up until that point? I ask this question from both sides, as I've been the one to stand aside and merely watch if someone else is attacking the mvp, but I've also been the person who's had the mvp stolen from them. Knights like to lure Orc Hero away while I'm setting up the icewall etc, like I said it's allowed but extremely annoying!  >:(

I know this happens, so I give a tutt and move on. But there are disgraceful incidences that occur, like when I was killing Dark Lord and a pally, iirc, blatantly ignored that I had a good position and was working on the mvp, and lured him away right across the other side of the map to his waiting party. That kind of behaviour is not necessary, free for all or not.l

eh, just wait another 30minutes or so to get another one :D (few exceptions)

only thing i hate is when the other people get the mvp to "kill/summon mobs at you"
like...spells on amon ra summons khalitzburg.

i usually go FFA when their lvl 99's (since they dont need the mvp experience, and are just in it for the loot) but if their low lvled and i didnt get there first i just leave.

Yeah, I mostly agree. It's not something I'd get myself worked up over, it's a game when all said and done. As someone who believes in common courtesy however, I do think it should be shown in some instances even though it's not illegal to steal a mvp.

I know it's a subjective view, so what will be will be I suppose  :)

Oh in he instance where the pally was tanking the orc hero, I had already asura'd once then fw, so I wasn't going to lose out on what I already started, I just wasn't sure if the mvp belonged to him then. But thanks for the tips. But I think I can handle being a jerk for 3 more days until the event ends, then I'll go back to my normal self of being too nice  :-\.
