Title: Game slowed down after patching...!
Post by: beb16 on June 21, 2008, 01:31:52 am
Is it just me or does anyone out there have the same problem as I do? Logging in is not a big deal but whenever I get into the game after patching, the game freezes as if it was slowed down... How to fix this? Any help...?

I don't know about anyone else, but I've felt a huge increase in lag lately.

Every major game architecture patch does that. Before the Lighthalzen patch was applied the game would run like a dream without the slightest lag. If lag ever happened - it was once in a month O.O. So yes every major patch adds Lag. There will be more lag when 12.1 is enabled. From what I see they have included the new episode in the patch only that its locked for the time being. They will prolly unlock it after the Beta is done. /ok

I have the same problem... After a few seconds into the game, a window popped up saying 'Disconnected from the server'. Damn it! Its annoying! Everyone seems to have fun chatting and stuffs but not ME! T_T *sob*

Just give it a little while and things should return to normal.

The main server is running on episode 10. Episode 11 is still undergoing some work.

Try running your anthem patcher and make sure you're not running dyefire or dyeadvance. It sounds like your client is trying to connect to the (offline) test server.

12.1 will make lag harder unless the server finds some way of handling it. Currently the only aegis servers that use 12.1 are official servers and they literally use super machines to host the server.
but I guess 12.1 is still far away, lets see how 11 works out.
