Title: Problems with Dyeadvance?
Post by: Dante_1563 on June 13, 2008, 05:31:02 pm
Hey guys, this is Dante_1563 once again with a problem. Well I was playing Rag and decided to get dyeadvance since it wouldn't let me see dyes. Then I restarted the comp turned on Ro and still could not see dyes. So I thought it was useless so I simply deleted the file. Now when I tried to play Ro again it showed a white screen for the patch client. Any ideas why?

Go to your RO folder and make sure that you deleted or renamed ws2_32.dll

After you've deleted the file and patched aRO you can re-install DyeAdvance 3.7 (Newer one)

Go to your RO folder and make sure that you deleted or renamed ws2_32.dll
It will not allow me to delete it so what do I rename it?
Make sure you're not running RO or any other programs from your RO folder(clients, patchers, etc). After that, you should be able to delete or rename that file to anything you want ("_ws2_32.dll" would be a possible choice).
