Just because it's a new server doesn't mean that law breakers should be allowed back.  Banned people were banned for reasons.

theyre banned for a reason

if they deserved a second chance they never wouldve gotten banned in the first place

yeah but let's remember some ppl got banned cause they got hacked and some ppl used those accounts to do evil things ;.; i think maybe to open a case to make some of their names cleared and make em go back will be nice  :police:

If you were banned, it was for a reason, and the fact that you lost all your equipment and characters this way is justified.

If making a new account is called "ban evasion", well, what could happen to you? Worst thing would be: ban. Oh well, if you were already banned, a second ban wouldn't be that hard, right?

i think that if they are banned they shoudl be banned forever because if other ppl noe that even ppl were banned in the original srver they wont get em back FOREVR so people should be learning a lesson by not breakign the rules..

i would have to say depends on the offense, like in the case that Orelus suggested, but botters/scammers/harrassment(ers) should definatly stay banned

i say to make it even, hold a raffle to get banned people un-banned. but in order to get into the raffle, they have to do something, like...write a essay saying what they did and how they won't do it again. if they break the rules AGAIN, then ip ban them...this is just a suggestion btw, no flaming me..>_>

The only reason banned people should be allowed back is if they actually think they are innocent (which in most cases people say they are but they really aren't).

As a few people said if banned people were allowed back just because the server is new then a lot of people would get angry.

IMO if people had their accounts banned, either they were the actual offenders (punishment ban) or their accounts got mixed up in the fiasco (freeze ban).

The former should suck it up and go away or make a newbie account. But the latter should definitely make their tickets and stick in there.

Although that being said, I really dislike people who break the rules and then insist that they're innocent....

I've known people banned for dumb reasons
and innocent people being banned for buying fraud  ads or something w/e

They were banned by different GMs, under different Admins, according to different rules for different reasons.

This is AnthemRO it shouldnt be dragged down by a scars from AnimaRO. I say this since i have had freinds that nearly got banned for killing GMs. Ive nearly gotton banned for merely disagreeing with GMs when this was Anima... If this wasnt a fresh rebirth, if this was still same old Anima then i prob wouldnt have even bothered returning.

This is AnthemRO its no longer AnimaRO, so it deserves a non-tarnished slate.

Protip: there are perma-bans and temp-bans.
If you have a perma-ban you're Shit outta luck.
If you only have a temp-ban, you're obviously welcome back once it's expired.

Not to mention the problems that exist in unbanning people who committed X offense, as long as it wasn't Y or Z. Going about things in this way basically says, "oh, well if you break this rule it's forgivable, but not these other ones", which would almost defeat the purpose of having those rules in place at all. All rule-breaking that results in a ban is on a fairly equal level in that sense, and breaking that up by unbanning some people and not others is illogical in my opinion.

i'm trying to do something to get me un-banned but, i can't cause Pab told me that i can't redonate, long story...>_>, the money  i used to get back my banned acc's so...i'm screwed now. gm's from animaro said if i could repay the amount i used then i can get unbanned but Pab is telling me the gm's here said they can't do anything about it. and to tell you guys the truth...it really wasn't my fault and yea.

@ GM Denia: Semi fresh is good enough for me^^
Well i started again on a fresh account anyway... its more tedious then it is hard. I dont mind bans bieng kept as long as some of the IP bans are checked over, im just scared some of those bans were done illiget under the old regime.

@ Aiden: i have to disagree with u there. Not ALL RULE BREAKS should result in a ban. Thatl be like stealing an apple from someones tree will get u the same punishment as committing rape or murder... As long as most people at the very least get to start again as level 1/1 novice then im happy.

@ Aki: Slime or no, everyone has a place in society. As the "slime" unfortunately is usually measured by POPULARITY rather then sliminess.

@ Khaos: I feel sorry for u as i kinda believe u. AnimaRO was a little screwed and alot of dodgy shit happened. Whats done is done as long as ur able to start semi fresh as a 1/1 novice then all isnt lost.
