Title: GJ and Meat
Post by: Navnavcutie on May 27, 2008, 01:08:41 am
Why do people always buy Grape Juice and Meat when they can buy potions? ???
I've played Philippine Ragnarok Online before and people prefer potions over meat and grape juice.

In official servers, SP items were costly. GJ is buyable at NPC here hence preferrable.
As ofr the meat part it must be cost cutting - I still use Potions to date for HP healing /heh

Somewhere in Gonryun or Hugel I think GJs are sold for 250z.
They can be made as well as bought however making is easier as for obvious reasons /heh

I use my own slims however before I brewed i used to use NPC White pots in war. I remember being ridiculed by an enemy in war  in their castle for using white pots way back when I started. "White Pots , lol . Use Cakes noob"

Guess that guy was the noob as Whites are still used as slims ;)
I use my own unranked slims in war apart from cookies.

I use cakes and meat together (200-300 meat depending which char im using for small vital heal) and cakes for instantly death heals like dullas in niff when training a trans 1st class char or mvping) it helps a lot and gj's well the weight in here isn't counted as it should be cause it was lessen from what i heard and ezier to carry around than blue pots for healing sp

I don't understand why meat is so prevalent but sushi is rarely seen. Granted it's only sold in one location and only 10 at a time, but it heals about 3 times as much for less than twice the price (no discount needed) and 1 fourth the weight. If more people realized their value, there would probably be people who would buy them from a vendor at an increased price just so they could get them in bulk.

I personally use Cakes because I just harvest them from TF for free. It's easier and it actually levels me (Okay so not really but .1 percent is better than nothing). I don't usually use GJ's unless I have to, but I don't really play with a lot of magic based classes so it's never really a problem. I only use potions if I've picked them up, I am a penny pincher so I don't usually buy any heal items unless it's vitally important :P

lol I might start buying sushi! Thanks Venom! x3 I very often use meat in WoE because I usually don't have time to harvest cakes at TF. Alternatively I'm asking a friend to brew slim pots when I have a few hundred herbs but yeh... using meat in woe is pretty lame considering how low the heal capability of meat is, even with tons of vit ;_;
