hmm if a lot of people are lagging it's probably not something client side...   i wonder if the servers are having trouble or something?

Are you having any lag problems shadowlosief? The first 2 guys live in Europe so that could be one reason.

I live in the UK, it's bearable in some areas but when I went to LH3 earlier the lag was horrible.

Just to provide some contrast, I usually don't lag much besides some WoE hours etc. I actually thought the GM's were doing item traces and that's why it was lagging. :  /

My connection is good. But whenever I opened like one small program besides aRO (like to play my music) it lags uber bad. X__x It never use to do that before. Kinda weird now. So I don't listen to my music now whenever I'm logged on aRO unless I'm just sitting in town. Because if I go to niff or something while its playing it lags so bad that i can't even move. So yeah. =s

That's computer side then.

Just to reitterate, I don't lag usually.

Just in the past few days.

Gud GOD..i thought it just me..i kinda laggy nowadays..my screen usually freeze 5 to 6seconds..in niff

Yeah i lagged because of my internet connection.. which is kinda bad. I tried playing with other ISP somewhere else and it seems fine.
But i lag often in Prontera (which is understandable :P)

Thats pretty far off in the south eastern Asia.... your chances of affected by lag is of course higher

Nope, it's more like, there's more lag if your internet connection needs to cross a whole ocean before reaching the server.

i have only had lag in Prontera, Niff, Einbroch, and Lighthalzen... im not sure if its normal tho

It lags so much in Skellington to me. I got killed by the smallest mob possible, and I'm WS lvl 99... (What a shame...)

EDIT: I'm from Croatia. (Europe for those who don't know where Croatia is...)

I live in Europe too and had some pretty bad lag last night and most of today.
I died in a mob of 2 medusa's on my 98 BS D=
Lost another percent that way. And for people wondering why I wasn't in niff leveling... it's because of the lag...
I have a better chance of surviving the lag at medusa's...

Well I live in the states in 1 time zone away an have a great connection an still have major lag only running ARO an have a friend in the same times zone as the server an she has major lag at times also an i know she has a great connection so I really dont think it matters to much where you live.
