Title: Thread re-used. New Question.
Post by: ani_thing on May 18, 2008, 05:16:03 am
Ok, I will be borrowing a friend's items...I do intend to return them, but I am wondering if I can make a thread in the forums somewhere so we can both post and confirm the items and accounts in question. (minus the Passwords and such of course.) This is possibly reassure him that if I would go back on my word that there would be proof that I did in fact go on my word. (like I said I don't intend to, but for the safety of his Items.
If I am wrong tell me but are ADS like the donation money you get from voting and donating? If so how much do the ADS go for exactly? Is it like 750k per dollar or 10$?

ADs = 1$ ~ 800k
ADs are real money e.g. donating that real money ($) you can make to pennies on the anthemro site this pennies you can sell in game.
1 pennie = 8k each = 1 AD 800k 100 pennies= 1 AD

Ads can also be obtained via other ways like voting (so they all didn't start off as real money but the majority of ad credit here is donated) and the price per $ is always changing but 800k per $ like karanja said is the "current market value"

GJ can't be bought from an npc, but can be made.
Here is a lovely guide made by a fellow aro player.
GJ can be bought from an npc, but at the same price as grapes.
Wat? If that were true, why would people make it?

You can infact buy Grapejuice in amatsu, however that's much too expensive.
A cheaper alternative is to do the Juice creation quest: http://www.anthemro.com/forums/index.php/topic,1784.0.html

Rules wise you shouldn't borrow his stuff at all since if someone gets scammed there's a lot of ads involved getting the items back. You could put up a trade and get the person to say "I 'Your name here" agree to borrow this stuff and return it" or something along those lines and screen shot them.
By the way you can make new threads for new things.

Spam is when you post useless crap or way too much of it, as long as you do it within reason you can post a few threads about different things (Re-using threads after many people have posted in it can make it confusing for some).

He's right, it is really confusing to catch up with stuff. If you create a new thread, leave the question intact, other people who might be searching for the answer will get helpl straight as well, too ;)
So no worries, you can create new threads if you have a question, it's alright :P
