can i donate for them, are they customizable, and why do they cost so much more than kahos zenywise?

Non-donatable; Non-Customizable. Costs a lot because of the non-donatable factor, which means you need to get via SQI arena (translation of what eimi said) after collecting all the ingredients to create it. Only 1 Valkyrie Helm per SQI-accessed Character can be created (unlike like Sleipnir[1])

doesn't make much sense though, seeing as kahos and valks are so similar. O_O

They really aren't similar at all. =/
Except that they are both hats, and they both give stats. .-.

well, they both boost 3 stats by 20, give +10 MDEF and def, and are SQIs.

atleast, i think so. more classes must benefit from the str+int+dex than the luk+agi+vit. cant think of anything else.  :(

However, 1 is donateable, and 1 is not. The Valkyrie Helm also is slotted, where as a kaho is not. The non-dontable is the factor of why the price is so high.

The ingredients are the following:

        * 1 Angel Helm
        * 1 Angel Wing
        * 1 Angel Wing Ears [1]
        * 1 Spikey Band
        * 1 Mistress Crown
        * 1 Bone Helm
        * 1 Queen's Hair Ornament
        * 130,000,000 Zeny

Add that up and you will see why it costs a lot of money to make. Where as with a kaho you can buy with either ads or with Zeny.

you can make them, you cant customiz, because they have cardslot.

Alternatively you can donate the ads, sell them for zeny then buy the valk helm from another player if making it doesn't tickle your fancy.
