Title: Question about Alchemist Rule
Post by: Cam18 on May 12, 2008, 01:25:12 pm
Do not kill other alchemists' plants without their permission. (Exception, this rule does NOT apply in KS-allowed maps or plants that have been spawned in a town.)
Now one question. Why do they allow that? For those alchemists that try to train at gh prison, which is the ks-allowed map, and may not have a bunch of MVP equips if any. People could simply walk up to any plant and kill it as many times as they want just to be a jerk. And I didn't see any rule about constantly killing an alchemist's plants. I'm just asking out of pure curiosity of why they would make killing an alchemist's plants in KS-allowed maps. If someone could help answer this question I'd really appreciate it.

While normally this is allowed in KS maps, when it occurs repeatedly over a prolonged period of time, then it becomes unacceptable.
some ppls may have just started and dont know alchys make plants to help them so like tell ppls to stop :P over a longer period after they know what theyre doing's wrong and such = harassment alltough id try to go in a secluded place just so i dont waste some plants also yeey im 98 ~nyo^^

They should update the rule so it includes that quote.

It would go under the "You may not keep following another player around killing/looting their monsters without their permission," clause.
But I would have to see screenshots to determine whether or not its repeated over a prolonged period of time. Like, (example) if someone hangs out/follows you for a solid hour just to make sure they kill everything you spawn, then that's excessive and punishable. But otherwise, it is allowed in KS-maps. Knowing that, its best to be proactive and try to get yourself and your plants in a low-traffic area whenever possible to avoid that problem.

True, but I doubt a lot of people see that rule in this way in this circumstance.
