Title: Does anyone play AnthemRO on their Mac?

I hear you need a thing called bootcamp that lets you run windows on your mac (needs to be a intel or pentium mac or something to run it though) in order for it to work. Search Bootcamp via forum search and you'll find what you need.

All the new macs come with bootcamp.
You're basically gonna have to install and use windows most the time anyway.

OS X isn't compatible with very much.

Dx That's fucked up, isn't that something Windows could sue for? Or am I misunderstanding how the application was detailed and "supposed" to work and be used for.

I use my Macbook Pro to play on Anthem.

BootCamp is perfectly legal.  It is included in Leopard.  BootCamp isn't Windows, you still need a copy of Windows for BootCamp to make a multi partition on your HD.

But you just run the Boot Camp Assistant, install Windows, and then just download the aRO installer and update (once your in Windows).

I was actually wondering why people like using Macs.
Edit: Aside from the fact that Vista blows Whales.
I've always hated using them. Ever since the schools scraped our Perfectly good PC's for Macs that were impossible to use,
and had like; Over ninethousand "security risk prevention" things, that only prevented you from doing anything on the CP, no matter how simple.

If they changed thats cool - But I couldn't stand using them back then.

OSX is nice to play around with but 95% of the time im in Windows XP, runs like any other computer I've owned.

I just wanted a nice looking thin notebook. /no1

Macs are nice, if you don't play games. Macs suffer from low compatibility with games and they aren't very easy to upgrade either. Whilst a PC and windows can easily be upgraded and Windows XP supports just about everything out there.

I like the way mac looks, but the OS itself sucks IMO.

For people who dont want to, Ive heard Crossover helps with some games.  Never used it though.

If you use Parallels or VMFusion. you can in OSX, but they'll be emulated (no GPU support).

Not sure in BootCamp.  I just use XP
