Hi Pixie-Stick.

I'm new to the server and tried wading through the thread you mention, but i think my mind melted somewhere along the way to page 27.

Anyone got an up-to-date link and info for the dyefire? ideally they would be in the form of idiot-proof instructions. [for me]

wanders off to lick at the wallpapaper and electrical wall sockets..

Ok so i probably missed this in the main thread but I'll post this in this uncluttered thread just in case it is of any help to others. I got it installed and working by intalling this [from the main thread] into my Gravity/RO folder

http://dyefire.ro-universe.de/df-r1-preview.exe (http://dyefire.ro-universe.de/df-r1-preview.exe)

then made a desktop shortcut of the yellow dye fire connection proxy icon in the RO folder. Double-click it, select AnthemRO>load and run>quickstart

and Robert is your mother's brother.

This was the level of idiocy i was after when i asked for  idiot-proof instructions, hope they are of use to other shambling RO cretins out there.

Honestly I think Dyeadvance is better, you just install it and you don't have to worry about it ever again. No need to open another program each time you want to see colours on RO.

whats this mean D:?

IMPORTANT VISTA NOTICE : DyeAdvance Vista replaces your original AnthemExe.exe, it is highly recommended that you backup that file before installing.
Installation : Extract the contents of the zip file to your RO folder

You know how vista like to give problems, it's just a cautionary thing.

Create a copy before installing DA and put it somewhere else.
