Well, WS are easy to lvl up. He can try to go for 40m. But, 50m? Thats overprice.

50m isn't really that over priced. It's not hard to level the base level, but if you think about it job 70 take forever if you're niffing and soloing to get there. An easier alternative would be lh3 leeches, but even then it takes a long while.

Try Niff to job70 and see how many months it would take you.  Any smith who reached job70 would tell you from 68 to 70 was a super pain since if you get killed by a mob, that is -1%.  Niff is really nice to lvl.  But you niff, i wonder if you could achieve 5% on job per hour.

Well, I did lvl up my WS to job 70 at niff. It does take long. >.> But well, my friend sold his lvl 99/70/50 WS for 40m before. So, I guess I just assume the price as in that range?

Someone has offered 50mil for my 99/70/50 Pally so I think a Mastersmith should worth more right? o.O
I dunno...lol
For me Pally is far more easier to lvl than Mastersmith x.x

Yeah, a 99/70/50 Mastersmith should be marginally more expensive than a Paladin of the same stats, because a Paladin can wield a Quad Drac weapon and still do decent damage while a Mastersmith is forced to hold a DDBS/DBSS weapon. Plus Mastersmiths pay for themselves in maybe 2-3 weeks of constant Skellington.

It all depends on how long the character was worked on, and how valuable it is. WS isn't worth more then celebs (No 50m). I remember level 99/70/50 characters were around 45m b4 (This was back in 06' oct), but maybe that was for only WS. Nowadays, its pretty easy to get a trans, because kahos and SQIs aren't so rare anymore. The real thing is the job 70. It would take about 7 hours to hit from 68/7-70 with an LH3 leech (I remember, but this was with my friend boshi <33)
At any rate, I think i gave him a good deal, knowing a 99/70/50 WS can
1. Vend
2. Has more chance to overup weapons successfully
3.Can nif and make even MORE money.
4 Max chance to make weapons (Very very strong w/e)

Back before Anima went down, I had offers for 50m for my 99/70 WS. I guess I wouldn't want to sell for less than 50 due to the pride I have in my WS and the time it took to level them. Even leeches take a long ass time + money. If you're not lucky to have someone leeching you for free that is. Honestly, I wouldn't want to sell my 99/70 WS for less than the price of a +10 Gladius. More power to you Fuerte if you do get free leeches to get job 70 - it puts you ahead of a lot of the other sellers that way.

I guess it also depends on individuals. For example, I will never sell my Creator 99/70/50 even if someone offered me 50m+.

Bump for PaiPai<3.  It is more over pride of owning a character, it is about economically speaking on time spending vs. alternatives.

WS is more useful than bio for those who wants to set a line of themselves on gear-wisely.  I remember countless people asked me for borrowing my WS for them to upgrade because they wanna keep it low profile.  Thinking about where those +10 IP and +10CK coming from.

Well, if odin leeching is still here, lower than 45M was okie.  Not now though.  Making a WS from starting is not cheap.  Leeching wisely, not all people have full exp boosting gears.
Not to mention when you leeching yourself, you didnt make much money from it. 
Let's make a list
18M  lvl99 character

1 to lvl 69   3.5 hours
69 to 90   10.0 hours
go lh3 starting at lvl90 because there isnt much way you can earn 2.5M/hr in niff usually.  I even doubt how many can make 2M/hr nowadays without using upgrades and resell.
lvl90 to lvl98 takes about 8 hours by the time of 98 at this rate, probably job68 to 69.
job68 to 70 takes 6 to 8 hours (say 7 hours here)

total hour used = 3.5+10+ 8 + 7 = 28.5 hours
like we say, 2.5M/hr if you sell that kind of fast leech.  2.5M/hr * 28.5 hours = 71.25M
71.25M + 18M (non-trans lvl99) = 89.25M

now say, from lvl69 to lvl90, you started to greed and say averagely you make about 1.5M/hr (since lower lvl gives less income while earning more at higher lvl.)
1.5M/hr * 10Hr = 15M
Net cost = 89.25 - 15M = 74.25M

Sure, some people might sell it low for thier own reasons.  I have even heard people traded sqi with some job70 trans too.  The act was wise or not; that is out of the topic of discussion.  Rather than that, it is the beautfy of free markets.  However, economically speaking, selling at 50M is pretty fair. 

Above are based on the experience i played on RO on my WS.  I do play WS pretty often.  I have|had experiences to mjoh, meg, brys, meg, suiken.
