Title: Is this a scam?

I was in Alberta when a fellow (apparently a noobie or someone pretending to be one) approached and started saying "help me".  I asked what he wanted, and he kept saying "help me".  Finally he told me he wanted to know how to transfer money between two characters.  I told him that as far as I knew, you either had to create a second account or else get someone you trust to do it for you.  I had to log out for a moment, and when I logged back in he was still there.  He then initiated a trade and gave me 95k.  I asked why he was giving it to me and he said it was for the help - then he said he was deleting the character he was on because he could only have three characters and he needed another one.

I'd like to think this is safe (especially since an extra 95k is a nice thing to have at the lower levels) but the whole thing seemed rather strange to me so I took a screen shot just in case.

Is this a scam (well-known or not) or just a strange person?  I can think of ways that screen shots could be taken and the conversation construed to make it look like I was going to transfer his money for him - and then just kept the money instead.  I can also imagine the person just being really unfamiliar with this game and wanting a quick way to solve his problems.  What think you?

The person was just giving a gift as thanks ?_?

Also are you asking if you scammed him or he scammed the 95k o.o?

I think I was present there, the person who gave him 95 k was a Wizard. Its natural If i have lesser then 100k on a char before deleting - I often give it out to a random newbie.

Oh OK.  Well it's not a lot of money, but it did seem odd to me.  I was just wondering if he was trying to get me in trouble or something.  Heck, I guess I've given money to people too in the past  ::)
