Title: +10 DDTP Blade or +10 DDP Saber for a merchant?

For a merchant from job 1-40 or 50 which would be better with damage? (thats all I'm going to use it for)

The saber would be stronger, but I would go with the Blade. The Phreeoni helps a ton at earlier levels, if you have good gears.

Saber would be better for the lower levels.
I'd still go with blade though. /ok

Blade is more useful later on.

The saber is better for lower levels because the attack is higher. At higher levels your str will make the % outweigh the attack.

Saber has a minimum level requirement tho.

Blade is more useful later when you want to level new novices.

i know that its no trouble to level a novice to 27 then changing its job.

Merchants have no skills, nor enough stat points to make the blade worth it.
Thats why I said DDP saber is best for merch.
But the DDTP is better if you plan on using it on other chars.

Now that I think about it though, you're rich enough that you don't need universal weps. :P
