when i put in ticket to name change
how long should it take for it to go through?
and after i put in ticket for it
should i stay off that account?

Anywhere from 24~72 hours usually. *From my experience*
Don't bother staying off the account, they knock you off when they do it. It will say "Someone else has logged in with this ID" if the do it while you're on.
If that happens, give it like 5min, should be done by then. /ok
