Title: sniper @ clown??

im in a dillema now. i dunno wut to be when i trans, sniper @ clown (im a hunter lvl 97 now). i always wanna be sniper but people keep sayin that clown is better... i need some advice plz.. thx

sniper is more in PvM and clown is more for WoE(not sure in PvP though >.>;)

Snipers are the secks in PvP, clowns are just meh.

id go for sniper then :3 fun's what matters and its better than allways thinking that u could've gone sniper
for pvp many ppls tell me bards beat snipers tough cos they can like wear a shield

hmm.. i really wanna pvp but my pc always lag... but arrow vulcan is WAY stronger than any of sniper skill...  :-[

Trust me, AV is garbage, top tier clowns can have their AV damage reduced to almost nothing easily.
Clowns suck at fighting, they are a support class. .-.
If you want to have a killing class, sniper is the way to go.

wow.. but i saw av does damage 10k-12k... thats a lot compare to falcon assault or sharp shootin

In PvM AV is does ok damage.

But with all the def and reduction from other players you can expect maybe 1-2k damage AVs, even with EG. Much lower without proper PvP gear.
Also AV has a huge delay, so you'd be better of spamming MS anyway.

I wouldn't know the numbers of the top of my head for a snipers' SS, but it should be 4~6k damage.
That and crit snipers have sick dps. With arte, 1.3k'ish crits at 190 aspd. *Roughly 5 hits per second*
