Title: Moonlight flower card and sleips
Post by: the_undutchable on April 21, 2008, 12:50:30 pm
So I know a soullinked stalker in chase walk with sleips on and agi up is the fastest moving class in-game, and I've personally experienced that speed.
Now the moonlight flower increases your movement speed as well. Does this increase in movement speed stack with that of sleips? If so, I would love to try out running around on my stalker with moonie sleips with agi up, whilst in soullinked chase walk.
But that would only work if the movement speed increase stacks.
P.S. Don't post that it's stupid to wast sleips by carding a moonie card in it. I'm more interested in the hypothetical result. Though experiencing that speed would also be nice...

Really? I thought it just increased movement speed by (10??)% So agi up would stack with that... I've never used a moonie card nor have I seen anyone use it...

okay i think i'm missing something here because either that first post has many things wrong with it or I am plainly an idiot?
agi up doesn't stack with sleips--tested--unless i'm flat out wrong. and bloody axe doesn't stack with slieps either. *nothing* stacks with the sliep speed except for 1 thing which i will get to in a minute
1)Stalker is actually slower in chase walk, and 2)soul link does nothing to increase chasewalk speed
and finally, the fastest speed you can experience is: 1)an assassin with level 10 cloak 2)wearing slieps 3)walking next to a wall <---very important (http://ratemyserver.net/index.php?page=skill_db&sk_name=cloak&sk_search=Search)

Plainly an idiot. Linked Chasewalk is ridiculous.

Rogue Spirit (Skill ID# 456) Type: Support Max Level: 5 Requirements: (May vary for different classes, view skill by classes is recommended) Assassin Spirit Level 1 Required For: Kaupe (L1). SP Cost: 560 - SkillLV*60 Target: Player Range: 10 cells Cast Time: 1 sec After Cast Delay: 0.5 sec Duration: 100 + 50*SkillLV sec Effect: Soullinks to Rogues and Stalkers, giving them special buffs for the skill's duration. - Dispell no longer removes your buffs. - Potions created by someone who is high on the alchemist rank have their effect increased. - STR bonus from Tunnel Drive will last 5 minutes and walking speed will also increase.
Tunnel Drive (Skill ID# 213) iRO Name: Stalk Type: Passive Max Level: 5 Requirements: (May vary for different classes, view skill by classes is recommended) Hiding Level 1 Required For: Raid (L2), Chase Walk (L3 Stalker) SP Cost: Hide dependant Effect: Upgrades the Hide skill to allow slow movement while hiding. Not restricted to walls like the Assassins Cloaking Skill. Level Movement Speed 1 26% 2 32% 3 38% 4 44% 5 50%
Chase Walk (Skill ID# 389) iRO Name: Stealth Type: Supportive Max Level: 5 Requirements: (May vary for different classes, view skill by classes is recommended) Hiding Level 5, Tunnel Drive Level 3 SP Cost: 10 SP Upkeep Cost: 50 + 10*SkillLV per 10 sec Target: Self Cast Time: Instant Duration: Sustained Effect: Walk behind your enemy while hiding. All detecting skills will not be able to detect a Stalker in this mode. The stalker can not attack and he will become visible when his SP runs out. Furthermore, attacks that impact the area that the stalker is in will end this skill thus revealing the stalker. The Stalker leaves faint shoeprints on the ground while using this skill. Walking speed is reduced, but this can be compensated with higher SkillLV. Can be used during Guild Siege, but costs 5 times as much SP. Increase STR for 30 seconds after casting. Level Description 1 Walk Speed 70%, STR +1 2 Walk Speed 75%, STR +2 3 Walk Speed 80%, STR +4 4 Walk Speed 85%, STR +8 5 Walk Speed 90%, STR +16
Just to prove some facts. The skill name on RMS is actually wrong for rogue spirit. They mean chase walk, not tunnel drive. Just to cut out any doubts I posted both the descriptions for tunnel drive and chase walk to show you that you get a STR boost from chase walk.
Now if you've never played a stalker, linked in chase walk with sleips on, you cannot compare walking speeds. I will borrow my friends sleips again sometime and I'll try using level 10 cloak near a wall. Even then, a linked stalker in chase walk with sleips will pretty much alwyas reach any destination faster than any other class (if you have to travel by foot)

A stalker with GTB in flee whore build is impossible to take out really. Wear an undead armour and even fire wall will be a joke. So there is no blocking one of those stalkers unless their GJ runs out. But since you can use GJ in chase walk you'll pretty much be able to relay info from the emp room without anybody realising you're there xD unless you move a lot and leave your prints all over the place.
