Title: Way to Delete Individual Loading Screens?
Post by: NeoMagus on April 12, 2008, 03:06:47 pm
Is there a way to delete certain loading screens ? My computer only likes to display 1 or 2 of the new loading screens which Im sick of seeing, and I want to delete them. How do I do this or do I have to uninstall and reinstall to get the old korean ones back.
The only thing I could find about this was an apatch in the original announcement thread which was supposed to keep them from downloading, but didnt do anything for me (im assuming since they are already downloaded)
thanks in advance

dont know u can but: you can customize by makin ur own loading screens(ur wallpaper for example) in skins just make a folder called Loading Screens put 1-12* backgrounds in folder+outside and its done *not sure about # u could always request the loading screens(came from contest) and put em in, the rest are ur own hope it helps?

The test server patch removed some of the images from the list of loading screens. The only way I can think of to fix it would probably fall under "client modification", so I guess the only thing to do is to file a report for the GMs to handle.

I couldnt figure anything out and just ended up making the folder "custom" in /RO/skin, and saving the ones I wanted from the announcement thread. Solved my problem (got rid of the screens I didnt want), but would be nice to see this addressed, I figured something was funny that it was only displaying a couple :(

you would most likely have to just use a grf packer and find the loading screens in the .grf file and delete them. simple as that...I think
