Title: So when you first started...
Post by: A1ethria on April 10, 2008, 06:57:23 pm
How long did you stay novice? Lol =d?

The novice equipment they have on this server is ridiculously awesome.  My novice is currently level 42 and I've been trying to collect minor things so I can buy equipment and weapons... Which will take a while.

I'm wanting to make a creator, but I'm considering making my main class an assassin cross again. >_>'  It'd be easy to level right now with the extra flee anyhow.

Opinions?

I stayed on novice til I could become a swordie.

I also explored 70% of RO.

I tried that once.  It was just so much slower than leveling as a novice.. =<  So I'm still novice.

lulz ;-;

29 on iRO, 35 here. D;

Mainly because on iRO, I didn't know what I was doing, so I just ran around killing stuff for hours on end.

It depends on if you already have good gears for first class characters. I used to train novices until around base lv 30 before job changing. Now that I have decent gears, I change as soon as I hit job lv 10 :P

at first I went up to 40 or 50 too just to get a head start

now if its a melee person about base 20

if its a caster still about 40 to 50

if you plan to change it to a thief...I suggest you do it now....

loots at einbroch and TF ( when you can already go there) should supply more than your needs....   ;D

anyway...good thief weapons are cheap  (keen damascus = 90-200k)  and so are katars....    :)

I leveld my novice to level 10 when I first started. But then, I never use the novice equips either. And I actually did the quest for swordie and Knight on my first character on here.

All right thanks guys.  I think I'm considering making my first character into a rogue so I can auto steal items for better money. :3

rogue's are the best!!
I leveled my novice to level 40 (base) using the novice equips
Poison spores, horns, poporings, they all had to be exterminated anyway...

Then when I changed to thief I bought a damascus and a buckler and went to bibalan (crap place to level btw... you're better off in a different dungeon or map. Unless like me you suffer from extreme lag when in popular places)
If you can stick it out to job level 50 as a thief do so. Most people disagree probably. But they don't know the wonders of having level 10 steal and a high level of envenom on a thief /ok
