i herd from some one u can break down great natures to green lives at umbala.. does anyone knw wer it is??

It's a long quest imo. I don't really remember exactly what to do, and I don't have access to the game right now to help.

For the beginning of the quest, you have to learn the Umbala language. Warp to Umbala and talk to their Mayor or whatever. His house is near the spawn point of Umbala when you warp there. Walk north-east from warp girl. Inside, he should tell you the details of the quest to understand them.

Then you have to do the stone conversion quest which is the "I don't remember" part. /swt

Ok.  Here you go --

- Language Quest starts with the Leader at the top left of the map
- Tell him you want to learn the language and keep on talking to him until he says something about his mask
- Wear a Mask
- Collect some items [2 kinds of paper, 1 paper for 5 and 1 paper for 10, the one with 5 is dropped by Driller and The Paper, the one with 10 is dropped by the kid in Kunlun and The Paper], Squid Ink 1 Ea, Feather of the Bird 1 Ea
- Talk to the leader again, make sure your mask is worn

Ore Quest

- Prepare 1 Red and 1 Yellow Gemstone   - - - (also blue gemstone)
- 216, 190, click the skull and look at it carefully
- Left Eye Put Yellow First, Right Eye Put Red After.  - - - (combination keeps changing each time)
- You will be teleported into the room and talk to the old lady
- Go to the leader's house again and talk, make sure you wear the mask
- Then go back and talk to the old lady again and she will do it for you
- Then you can break a pure ore or make one

Nice guide. =D

Karakasas drop the Oil and Slick paper that you need. Much easier than The Paper. And I think you need more than 1 Feather of Bird. (Unless maybe I just think that because it is needed in the Smile Mask quest?)

This NPC can also turn "useless" items, like Snail's Shell, or Horns, into Crystal Blue, Green Live, and so on.
