erm..i just noticed how come i still take damage from GC while wearing my angeling  ???

Well... you take holy damage, based on your ATK/MATK/DEF/MDEF and so on. With an Angeling armour, this damage will be nullified.
You will lose 20% of your HP though. This damage can't be nullified.

Means: Without Angeling, you will take the holy damage AND lose 20% of your HP.

Means: Without Angeling, you will take the holy damage AND lose 20% of your HP.

Just for clarification, it's 20% of your Current HP, not Max HP.

If you are wearing Angeling and you have 1000/10000 hp, you will only lose 200 hp as opposed to the fatal 2000 damage.

i always thought with angeling it still takes normal damage /heh

Well you learn something every day...I don't know much about the swordy class but hopefully I will when I make one and this helped me too.  ;D
