Title: I need help loging in.

Ok I'm new, Ive downloaded the game, but as soon as i press start it takes me to a setup screen, then every time I press ok it takes me back=(

You need to choose a few things in the setup window, like the resolution, sound, and stuff. If not, the game won't start, I think. @.@

Open up the Window, then press the PrtScrn/PrintScreen button, to the right of F12 on your keyboard.

Then open up Paint/MSPaint and Ctrl+V or Edit+Paste, crop accordingly, save as whatever.png, and upload to tinypic.com.

Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint.

Change the first box to the name of your video card. The first choice if possible.

Also, use 3D sound, change the sound settings to the highest, check Voodoo3, and uncheck Fog.

The ATI one. That's your Video card's name.

ok I did the 200 series,3d sound,2speaker,22k sound frequency,16bit sound,sound channel 48, checked voodoo,unchecked fog. Still doesn't work=(

Click start then click run and put this

C:\Program Files\Gravity\RO\AnthemPatch.exe

and

C:\Program Files\Gravity\RO\Anthem.exe

and tell me if the set up menu appear.

So the thing is, it takes me to the setup screen, I can't press ok without it taking me back to setup, or I can't cancel/press X on the top right corner of the windwo without it taking me back to setup. so basically once the setup screen is out, I can't turn it off w/o loging off and back on.

1st box: Direct3D hal
Full screen mode: unchecked*
3rd box: 1280 x 768 x 16*
4th box: Use 2D Sound
5th box: 2 Speaker
Sound frequency: 22k
Sound bits: 16 bit
Sound channel: 16 channel
Check for VooDoo3 users: unchecked
Use lightmap: Checked
Enable fog: checked

*Size of screen, unrelated to if the game works or not (hopefully)

Hmm... can you tell me: Do the settings "reset" when closing the setup and opening it again?
Your computer might not be able to save the settings.

By the way: Do you have a HP notebook? :D

That would mean he's not given Read/Write permission, which would be fixed by asking an Administrator.

Indeed, since the setup configuration is saved within the windows registry.
But honestly, I don't think he doesn't have the rights to change the registry...

I recall a problem with my client; the configuration was always resetted, and by re-installing the Mini Setup, I fixed it.

I've had the same trouble at school, it has indeed something to do
with Administrator rights.

I gave up a long time ago to fix it, but I know how to get rid of the
setup screen.

Press Ctrl + Alt+ Del, clock processes and exit Anthem.exe, then
exit setup.exe.
Do it in that order or else it'll keep poppin' up.

Are you trying to play behind a restricted computer? Ask your parents if you are if you aren't sure.

I'm fairly certain that this is happening because you cannot write to the registry. Same thing happened in school. I tried to run it on a school computer and it wouldn't work, but when I logged in as admin (two friends and I cracked the password at the time), it worked perfectly because I was allowed to write to the registry and I never had problems playing it as non-admin afterwards.

Delete EVERYTHING except these files:

sdata
sakray
sakexe
spatch
BGM folder

And then install my MiniSetup (found [Here] (http://files.filefront.com/AnthemROMiniSetup22/;9577514;/fileinfo.html) or [Here] (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XBXWE9PV) or [Here] (http://rapidshare.com/files/89450226/AnthemRO_MiniSetup_2.2.exe)) to where those files are left.

After you've installed it, Sakray will autopatch, then you start dyefire. This should patch Anthem, then you can play the game.

ehhh, I'll have to sneak and do it, cuz he will be like---Virus will just come and mess up the comp!

He's a noob if he thinks you'll get a virus from RO.

Whenever you have access to the admin account, go into Control Panel > Users > and make yourself an Admin.
