Vend bots open their shop immediately, a lot of times inhuman like set up times. When they DC they automatically reconnect and their shop is up immediately. Normally the only way to really check a vend bot is to have a GM do it. We have our methods /gg

Yeah empty shop=bot. Unless there's some bug in the vending skill that I'm unaware of. Players immediately close their shops after the last item is sold. While you can't actually identify a vend bot unless you get lucky and they for example, walk with their shops on or have empty shops, a lot of vend bots have something thanks ridiculously expensive to prevent their shop from being left on empty. I.E people vending apples for 50 mil or jellopies for 500 mil or something.

Sometimes, but not always the case. There is actually a bug that makes it so that the vends stay open even after everything has been sold. I've looked at the bot coding and there isn't anything which makes it stay open after everything has been sold. In fact, most of the vend bots will automatically go and restock once empty, or completely just disconnect and log off once empty.
Also not a every bot will do the "pricing high" to leave shop open, a lot of players do this as well for various reasons. To market their shop name, to be humorous, sheer boredom, etc.
I find that majority of the time, vendors that are reported with their shops open, pass bot check ???

So there is a bug in the skill o.o; I always thought that the bot would leave the shop open forone reason or another, but well thanks for clearing up :3

I see so GM can disconnect the vender that have suspicion of botting. That's quite clever.

GM's can do tons of crafty things, DC'ing is jsut one basic way to do it. DC vend bot > Vend bot immediately logs back and sets up shop in less then 2 seconds > Repeat few times. If the result repeats every time then I'd at least ban it for botting. However as I said, there are craftier things as well ;3

Would ppl seriously go to the limit of Bot vending? seriously, If they even have to bot for vending than they shouldn't play this dang game at all. Go play lay on your bed or something, less effort and less buttons to click.

The point of vend bots: Automatically reconnects and sets up shop on DC also they can also automatically set up a new shop if the old one is sold out

The probelem with openly discussing bots and how to catch them has a complete flip side in which botters, who read these forums, get an idea of how to avoid being checked or noticed. Exactly why I don't support 'how to catch bot' guides, tell anyone any 'tricks' to spot them or even publish any evidence in reports that might give these 'tricks' away.
Having said that, force DCing vend bots is common knowledge and is easily countered. New botters take note >.>
