Title: Quick Question
Post by: Ben-Grimm on March 02, 2008, 11:27:54 pm
This question is kind of noob, but I haven't played on this server for a long long time. This is my question: When we trans, are we still able to pick any job other than what we were before trans? For example you were a priest before trans, can you change to a champ after you trans?

At least I think it was this server that lets you do that lol...if I'm mistaken then...lol sorry.

Yes you can choose any job after transcending, excluding super novice and the extended classes because they don't have a transcendent equivalent.

When you trans to a high novice, you're basically starting over again, except as a high class. So you could choose any class you want to trans too.

Ex: You're a priest as a non trans. After you trans, you can choose to become anything, pally, creator, stalker, etc.

I've also got a question about transcending that hopefully you guys can answer. If for a 1st job (non-transcended) you get to a job level 45 instead of hitting 50, then switch to your 2nd job, will this affect your character's in any way after you transcend (i.e. fewer stat points, skill points for your 2-1 job)?

Let me know if this is unclear, and I'll try to rephrase the question. TIA!

Besides having less skills points for your 1st jobs skills then no.

... will this affect your character's in any way after you transcend ...?

No, there will be no effect after all, when you transcend to a High Novice - all your skillpoints & job levels will be gone anyway, and you have to train anew to gain your job levels.

Once you trans you get 100 extra stat points at the start to use however you like also but to you need like 3 times more exp then your non-trans counterpart.
