Title: Levelling as an Archer
Post by: secluded on March 02, 2008, 04:29:47 pm
Hello there everyone ^^ I'm pretty new to RO and I made an Archer (becoming hunter) as my first character. Right now my character is at 49/35 and I don't really know where I should go to level. Thanks for any help in advance ^^

Get fire arrows and head to the field north of Einbroch.
Kill Geos ONLY, unless you can kill the other monsters that spawn there.

Go full dex, too. :P

I've actually tried Prison...I always die since something always spawns near me haha.

get fire arrows and go to leaf cats
Excuse me for asking, but where exactly are Leaf Cats?

Get fire arrows and head to the field north of Einbroch.
Kill Geos ONLY, unless you can kill the other monsters that spawn there.

Go full dex, too. :P
I've done this too, but I always felt like I was spending more time looking for Geos than killing them. Perhaps I'm not looking the right places?

Leaf cats are find in ayothaya dungeon and outside of the actual dungeon just use warp girl and you're there. Just make sure you run from the wootang fighters. Those guys are fire types.

so , you better do inside  dungeon  to find Leaf cats (HIT WITH FIRE ARROW. ) leaf cats have more job experince compared  to  other monster same level . Base level not so much, if you want faster to up you job level you can kill leaf cat.

I've done both.  I find that hunting Leaf Cats made me level up faster than the TF; just (as someone else mentioned) stay away from the "monkeys" (wootang fighters).  At level 55 or so, I was able to handle them, but only by spamming meat while I double-strafed.

If you go to TF, use at least iron (or better, steel) arrows.  Hit-and-run with Chepet, and try not to let more than one Cruiser target you at a time.  Stay away from the Stormy Knight (well, duh).
