Title: If you were a new player and an aco...

Would it be wise to go priest or monk at job 40 or at job 50? Or anything in between?

i think if you go for monk, i'll say 50, but for priest i'll say around 43

For Priest, always go for 50. That Ensures that you get all your Pre-Req's in order.

For a Monk, Its really your choice. Just remember that you need to spend 20 points on pre-req skills, Just to get your monk ones.
Thats not counting your buffs like Blessing, Ect.

aco buffs are so dang useful, as are monk skills.... great skills like pneuma and blessing come from acos, which you will slap your self when you have to ommit them from your skills builds. You will not have any extra monk points to spend on aco skills, so it is in your best interest by far, to take the aco to job 50.

Basically - If you don't take it to 50, You limit yourself greatly.
The Aco Really has too many Skills. :|

its best to go 50, but it isnt 100% necisary if you go trans, but trans you should always go 50.

you make it sound like you can get to 99 in one day...  well if you can god bless

for those that cant agi 10 and bless 10 heal 10 is nearly nesesary.. then there are the prereqs...

Teleport and warp also helps unless you plan to bum rides ll the time

thats 2 for tele and 4 for warp
36 stats leaving 13 for prereqs...  believe me les than 50 with aco will make it harder later

well ya, I see what you are saying... it wont take 1 day, but what I am saying is its not 100% necissary. but it makes things easier.

For Top Tier, You'll also Need Neuma' which means Level 4 Warp, As well as Angel level 5, If you're a High Aco.

Trust me; You'll want to get all the skill points that you possibly Can.
You REALLY feel it if you change too early. ITs not 100% needed of course, But its really a Stupid idea not to.

its not really stupid ... if you were able to get a priest to 99 base w/o getting a job 50 aco and not have much problems

then thats good and keep it up

for me and I guess some of us we found it easier to have job 50 on our first job... oh and I do have IC gears at that...

well thats up to you though

my advise is that go to job 50 so you could do the skills that you want in the future

if your job 47 then be patient to level it to 50 and in the long run you'll be satisfied

for doing that /ok

your long hard work will be accounted for  ;D
